Fatigue models are powerful — and we use one. Given the right inputs, they can predict how readiness and performance will evolve over the course of a shift.
But every model has a critical vulnerability: the starting point.
Before a shift begins, models must estimate a worker's initial state using sleep data, shift schedules, and workload history. That estimate is anchored to population averages. It describes the typical worker, not the person standing in front of you today.
We don't estimate the worker state. We measure it.
OPTOVERA Predict uses a validated biomathematical model to forecast fatigue risk based on sleep patterns, circadian rhythms, and work schedules, continuously identifying when a worker is most likely to experience fatigue, before it becomes visible or dangerous.
Unlike any other fatigue model, it adds one critical input no one else can provide: a direct measurement of the worker state at the start of each shift.
